An Executive Coach is a partner and advocate - someone who is 100% focused on the Client and their career, business or personal success. Our Accredited Coaches are trained to listen, observe and tailor their approach to the Client's specific needs. Their job is to provide support to enhance the Client's existing skills and resources and release their creativity.

What is the coaching process?
The Client sets the agenda while the Coach listens and moves the Client to action by giving the tools, structure and consistent, independent feedback to keep 'on track' and moving forward.
Coaching accelerates the Client's progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice. It focuses on where Clients are now and what they are willing to do to get to where they want to be in the future, recognising that results are a matter of the Client's intentions, choices and actions, supported by the Coach's efforts and application of the coaching process.

It's for any SME in the South West between 5 and 249 employees. This is done on a first come, first served basis for registering interest. Once the committment has been made, and this should not take more than a few days - the money is guaranteed. If Train to Gain hit the limits to the cash, they will hold a waiting list.
The limit to this funding is £1000, match funded by the SME. Train to Gain cannot pay for the VAT element so it is the cost excluding VAT. There has to be a minimum of six hours guided training/coaching/mentoring.
Who can benefit from this funding? Anybody from the lowest level of management to directorship. You may put a number of people through a day's course, intensively have one person coached for a period of time or put a couple of people from a management team through ILM qualifications. And there are many other opportunities!
Delivery and invoicing has to be done by 31st March 2008 and the companies then have until 30th June 2008 to submit their claims.
