Celebrating 25 Years of Crisp

On 25th November we invited guests to join us to help celebrate our 25th Anniversary at our offices on Exeter Business Park, marking the occasion with canapés, drinks and a celebratory cake.

We welcomed guests from many local organisations including Devon & Cornwall Police, Michelmores, Devon Wildlife Trust, RGB Recruitment and Tor Creative.  We listened to Tom McMurtrie from Hymid Multi Shot Ltd talk about how training has supported the development of his company.

Marking the anniversary with a toast at our Open Event, Managing Director, Shaun Durham said:

“It has been great to celebrate our 25th anniversary with so many of our valued clients. The breadth of our offer and our focus on flexibility and tailoring our offer to our clients’ needs means that we work with hundreds of companies, from small SMEs to national companies.

With our strong reputation regionally and nationally, happy clients, and a growing team operating from our Exeter home, we are proud of our history and looking forward to continued success.”

Our story

Crisp Professional Development started out offering open training courses in 1990. This led on to the creation of bespoke and in-house development packages and later, accreditation by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

In 2012 the business was bought by Executive coach Shaun Durham who specialises in using emotional intelligence and positive psychology to help individuals and organisations to develop.

Crisp Professional Development continues to go from strength to strength, with a growth in turnover of 100% since 2012.  Our client base includes national names such as the Met Office, L3 Communications and South West Water as well as a vast array of local and regional businesses across all sectors.
