Supporting Mental Health in the Workplace
According to charity MIND, 1 in 6 employees are currently dealing with a mental health problem of some kind, be it anxiety, stress, depression etc.
As an employer, it makes sense to ensure that your workforce is healthy, focused and motivated, yet knowing how to provide appropriate support for colleagues with mental health problems can be difficult.
Our 'Mental Health Awareness at Work' course equips team leaders, supervisors and managers with the skills they will require to provide an environment of openness and support around mental health issues.
In this one day programme, we'll look at:
- an overview of common mental health problems
- how to spot the signs of a mental health condition
- knowing when to step in
- understanding how to best offer reassurance and support
... and more
