Constructed Conversations (MVF)

This fast-paced session will focus on introducing Managers and Supervisors to the principles behind effective Performance Review Conversations.

Specifically, this session will develop your understanding of the purpose of performance reviews and the key skills and behaviours involved.

You will learn about the principles underlying an effective performance review system. You will also identify the key skills and behaviours for hold productive 1:1 conversations, including setting objectives and offering meaningful performance based feedback.

  • The strategic purpose of Performance Reviews, including the benefits of a positive strengths-based approach
  • The core skills of Asking Questions and utilising your Active Listening
  • Understanding the importance of Goal setting
  • Offering constructive performance-based feedback
