In-House Training Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions of Business - KiPeople Consulting Limited, trading as Crisp Professional Development (CPD).
These Terms and Conditions apply to our In-House Training and Individual/Group Coaching sessions delivered by Crisp Professional Development (CPD). Making a booking with CPD is deemed acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Business.
A booking and training date is only confirmed when the invoice has been issued by CPD and the training date has been confirmed in writing (including by email). This constitutes a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the booker to provide CPD with a Purchase Order Number, if one is required.
Payments can be made by debit or credit card or by cheque or by BACS. Cheques should be made payable to “Ki People Consulting Ltd”. Please ensure VAT is included.
If an event is booked within 28 days of the event date, 100% of the event fee will be invoiced at the point of booking. Full payment of the invoice must be received in advance of the event date.
If an event is booked in excess of 28 days prior to the event date 50% of the event fee will be invoiced at the point of booking and must be paid within 28 days of the date of the invoice or prior to the event start date, whichever is sooner. The remaining 50% of the event fee will be invoiced after the event and must be paid within 28 days of the date of the invoice.
3. Late Payment
In the event payment is not received in accordance with paragraph 2 above, CPD reserves the right to cancel the event.
In the event of late payment, interest may be charged at the rate of 8% above base rate on the full amount outstanding, under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Payment is only accepted in pounds sterling.
Provided an alternative date is requested more than 14 days prior to the original course date, no transfer fee will be payable.
In the event that a transfer is requested 8-14 days prior to the course date a transfer fee of 10% will be payable and must be paid within 28 days or prior to the new course date (whichever is sooner).
In the event that a transfer is requested 7 or fewer days prior to the course date, a transfer fee of 50% will be payable and must be paid within 28 days or prior to the new course date (whichever is sooner). In addition to the above transfer fee, the Customer will indemnify CPD in respect of any expenses that CPD incur in preparation for a training or coaching event – e.g travel and accommodation.
Substitutions on ILM accredited courses cannot be accepted.
6. Cancellations by Customer
In the event of written notice of cancellation being received by CPD in excess of 4 weeks prior to the course start date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the entire event fee is payable by the customer.
If written notice is received less than 4 weeks prior to the course start date a 100% cancellation fee is payable by the customer.
7. Cancellation and Alterations to Course Contents, Dates, Venues, Fees and Trainers by Crisp CPD.
CPD reserves the right to alter or cancel the date or venue of courses without liability. In the event of CPD cancelling a course, and where an alternative cannot be provided, the course fee will be refunded by CPD to the booker. CPD reserves the right to provide a substitute trainer without notice. CPD seek to ensure that the content of courses is continually reviewed and kept up to date, this could result in some alterations to the contents and CPD reserve the right to make amendments to the course contents without notice.
Replacement certificates for attendance on a course, including for an ILM programme, will be subject to a fee.
