The business approached Crisp Professional Development in 2021 for a solution to re-energise and upskill their population of line managers, following the Covid-19 pandemic. After considering the options presented, the HR team chose 5 topics (to run a number of times depending on demand) to be facilitated virtually over Zoom. The topics ranged from ‘Essentials of People Management’ through to ‘Embracing Change’.
Several Crisp facilitators ran the courses and the live online sessions were delivered in half-day slots in the afternoons to ensure that managers could attend outside of their busiest working hours. Sessions were kept interactive using the various annotation tools available along with breakout rooms.
Lizzie Todd – Senior HR Manager for the business says: “Crisp were able to partner with us and find tailored solutions to fit our business culture and our people needs. We felt listened to as a result. The ‘Essentials of People Management’ session I joined was excellent, as was the facilitator. Feedback has been positive across the board and we are due to partner with Crisp again this year to build on the strong foundations that have been put into place.”
Delegate Amy commented after her session: “Outstanding course, content and trainer.
The Zoom course was a really positive experience; we stayed engaged throughout. Group chat rooms were good, modern way of attending courses… may this continue!”
Delegate Lee commented: ”This course has opened my eyes to many managerial techniques that I have overlooked. The importance of listening when in a managerial role and also how important feedback is within a team.”
