Sapphire Holidays, based in Hayle, are a long-established group of self-catering holiday letting agencies with a large portfolio of the finest holiday homes. Our brands include Aspects Holidays, Boutique Retreats, Classic Cottages, and Unique Hideaways.
Our group continues to grow organically with 150 staff members at present, in offices from St Ives in Cornwall to Seaview on the Isle of Wight.
Crisp Professional Development have always been our preferred provider for staff training, having carried out various in house and on-site training sessions over the years. We approached Crisp in 2018 to discuss a leadership programme for our senior management team. Shaun came to our offices to talk through our requirements and we were confident that he would be the right person for the job.
Our main objectives for the training were to embed uniform leadership behaviours and facilitate a positive cultural change. The training exceeded our expectations through a mixture of practical and theory-based learning, so much so, that we decided to roll out core elements of the course to the remainder of the company over the next three years (thanks to Covid!). Everyone took something positive away from the training and different topics resonated in many different ways depending on personalities. Most of us now know whether we are Parent, Adult or Child, or if we have a Fixed or Growth mindset!
As well as the content of the course being relevant and engaging, everyone seemed to connect well with Shaun. He has a very personable approach and is brilliant at what he does. We were pleased for Shaun to join us for many off site training sessions at some wonderful venues across Cornwall and have him join us for dinner and a glass of wine or two!
We would definitely recommend Crisp Professional Development training to other organisations, and we are already planning our next stage of training for 2022.
