Excel Intermediate Level 2 course

Our Excel Intermediate Level 2 course is designed for the experienced user of Excel who wants to examine the more advanced and sophisticated features of Microsoft Excel. This Excel training course aims to develop skills in higher-level data analysis, formula building, formatting and automation features.

Macro building is covered but Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is not.

Our courses are highly practical and interactive. All courses take place in our Exeter training suite, we supply laptops for use during the session. We limit the class size to 8 to ensure our coach has time to deal with any specific queries you may have.

This course will equip you to utilise the advanced functions of Excel and is the highest level of Excel training that we offer as part of our open course training programme – further tuition can be provided, please contact the office for bespoke training details.

During this course, you will be manipulating data from external sources, including the use of Power Query. You’ll also create a pivot table built on more than one set of data. A large number of useful built-in functions will be explained together with; text concatenation, advanced database capabilities, grouping and outline modes. We’ll also take a detailed look at Data Validation and working with formulae in conditional formatting.
